The Great Greece Odyssey
The guy said six so I thought, Wow six euros for a gyro sandwich that’s a pretty decent price! Turns out it was six euros for both Gyros. Yep, three euros each plus six euros for two Cokes and we both had a very tasty lunch for a total of twelve euros. No taxes required and no tips expected but we always round up the tab to leave a small tip.
No questions asked at the no-tell motel hotel “Athena” in Patra, where we met Pano and Poppy the manager and his wife. Getting to know these two characters was both a challenge and a heart warming experience.
