We're leaving the Picasso museum in Barcelona when someone hands us a flyer for a Famenco in Dalmases show happening that night at the thousand year old home of a wealthy industrialist.

Fortress size stone walls and doors with massive staircases created the atmosphere of a Game of Thrones scene. Easy to imagine some evil plan taking place in the dark corners of this castle like home.

Flamenco is music and dance native to the southern Spanish regions of Andalusia. It includes singing, guitar playing, dance and jaleo, which refers to the vocalizations and rhythmic sounds of hand clapping and finger snapping.

Anticipation builds as we enjoy a very nice local red while exploring the enormous art collection. With a seating capacity of about thirty people the experience is up close and the energy level is through the roof.
